ALL HAIL THE GLOW CLOUD!

If anybody has kept up with Welcome to Night Vale, you should already know about their novel which released last year. Unless the vague yet menacing government agency has informed us that this information should no longer be known, but that doesnt seem to be the case at the current moment.

Anyways, I have to say I throughly enjoyed this book, it helped fill in the information about the man in the tan jacket as well as gave more insight into PTA treasurer Diane Crayton. Although I might have been bummed about not learning more about the history of Night Vale, I was still immersed within the weird world of Night Vale. The book was also filled with clips of the Night Vale radio show with Cecil talking more about his boyfriend (which is honestly one of my favourite things - Cecil and Carlos talking about their relationship) and clippets of the traffic and news sections.

I would still recommend this book if you haven't listened to the podcast before, it might even get you to start the podcast. However, listening to the podcast prior to reading the book will help you understand some of the constant reappearing information that was not throughly explained in the book. The creators have also created an audio book, which I am totally hyped for but haven't brought myself to buy it yet.

Check out their site for more stuff and their store which has some Night Vale themed products that dissapear every once in a while, so if you ever want anything it's always best to get it as soon as possible.
